When imagining buying our first home, buying during a global pandemic never entered the picture. We started looking for our first home in the Ann Arbor area right when the state was in the process of shutting down and supply was at an unprecedented low. We also had high expectations in terms of the house and yard for the right value which made us tough clients to please. Despite all the challenges of the COVID real-estate market, we had an amazing experience working with Spencer and found the house of our dreams. Specifically, we really appreciated working with Spencer for his building and renovation experience (he recently just completed building his own house!)– he was able to reliably give us estimated costs for repairs and improvement ideas, and quickly connected us with experts when issues arose. He was a great teacher in what to expect and how to make the most attractive offer, even in this strange sellers’ market. Spencer’s patience, encouragement, diligence, and easy communication put us at ease throughout the initial search, offer, inspection and negotiation processes. Eric came highly recommended to me by at least 10 friends/colleagues, and I completely understand why.
